Basic Interview

The basic stage began with the assignment of the project and ended with our decision to pursue individual research.

Basic Interview (Charlyne)

• Developing and listing our questions for the interview based on our individual reading of the article.
• Deciding on what format we would conduct the interview (e.g. one-on-one interview, both of us conducting the interview, what kind of technology we would use to conduct the interview).
• Contacting Bazerman to set up interview.
• Writing an e-mail to Bazerman that articulated our project and its goals.
• Outlining interview schedule.

Basic Interview (Ryan)

• The interview shaped my reading throughout the basic stage because it focused my reading on “what is he trying to say?” instead of “in what ways can I apply this idea in my own life and work?”
