The search to find answers to our framing questions oriented my initial read;
I was confused, at first, by the shift from theoretical to personal examples;
My reading was driven by my knowledge of the upcoming interview;
I did not identify the value of the Merton references on the first read, since I had barely a passing familiarity with his ideas.
